Diva Challenge 278

This week is the UMT (Use My Tangle) Knightstar from Daniel Lamothe.  It reminds you a lot of the old geometry line graphs we used to do.  I traced a Bijou tile in the center for the Knightstar.   It is very angular.  I softened it with Lynn Meade's new pattern Abeko, and shaded with red chalk.

  1. Great tile Pat. I love the shading with the red chalk. I'm going to have to find out more about Abeko. Very pretty.

  3. Nicely done...I love how delicate you have made it. And love the red shading. That's what makes it so very pretty.

  4. A very nice composition and a good idea to bring the knightstar in the middle: the real star of this tile but I like your way of drawing Abeko also very much!

  7. You balanced the angularity with the soft border really well!

  10. Cool. Darkening one of the lines in Knightstar really changes the look of the tangle. That's one of the things I really like about it. Just tweaking one little thing can have a big effect. Nice.

  11. This is very cool, the slight angles along the edges of your knightstar flower petals...NEAT!
